A 5-part Series to focus on specific areas of your training to help give you optimum understanding and improvement. All levels are welcome from Intro-FEI. All sessions will include a 10 minute introduction/evaluation followed by training with a variety of exercises, as well as a post-session write up emailed to you to summarise what you’ve worked on and an outline of the exercises for you to practice at home.

Transitions are the cornerstone of any test from Intro all the way through Grand Prix level. Learn to help your horse execute a balanced transition from behind, in a reliable way, so he can use his body effectively and build strength. Transitions are also a great way to infuse work with calm and mental focus from your horse. In this session, we will focus on transitions between the gaits, but also within the gaits to help give your horse all-important “gears” that will improve all aspects of their ridden work.

From teaching a youngster the first steps of leg yield, to improving your counter change of hand in canter - and everything in between! - learn how to teach your horse something new, use lateral work to enhance your horse’s way of going and build his strength and suppleness, and help him find self-carriage. Includes tips and tricks for showing off his lateral work to best advantage in the ring.

Following on from the previous sessions, this will help you use what you’ve learned to develop your horse’s medium and extended gaits as well as improving his collection and engagement in all his work, with rhythm, energy and your horse’s own enjoyment of the work being at the heart.
Colleen regularly travels for clinics which have proven very popular. She is happy to do them for Riding clubs or just individual yards, both in the UK and USA.

CLINIC AT HOME SERIES:
"Clinics at Home" are also available in the Taunton and surrounding areas. They are taken from the format of clinics in the USA where you go and "camp out" for a long weekend to maximise success, advancement and consistency, giving you a big step forward in your development. In this series, you can fast-track your progress in a similar way by doing several lessons close together, and at a discount! Choose from 2-4 lessons at your own yard to maximise your understanding, solidify the building blocks of your training, boost your competition scores, and drastically improve a problem area or overall way of going.
Options:
2-day : £75 (Save 6.5%) - must be taken within 3 days of each other
3-day: £120 (Save 10.0%) - must be taken in the same 7 day period
4-day: £155 (save 15%) - must be taken in the same 14 day period
